NYPD 3 WHEEL SCOOTER

NYPD Three wheeled scooter


The NYPD started to use the 3 wheel Cushman Scooters in the mid 1970s. It is considered an extension of a Patrol Officer's foot post. Although the scooter is able to cover greater distance in a timely manner - the scooter operator is able to have a "one-on-one" interaction with the community.
